I'm so old, I remember when Guild Wars was on Dos as a text adventure.
I'm in my late 20.

Wow - I thought I was one of the few 40+ Guild Wars players being 44 next month, but it seems there are a lot of us in this bracket!
Along with many of the other oldies here, I started playing PC games back at the beginning of the 1980s. My first computer was a Sinclair Spectrum 48K.
I taught myself BASIC on that machine and even wrote a few simple games for it.
My first PC was an 80286 with a whole 256K of RAM! It cost me around £400 (getting on for $800 US) to upgrade that to 1 meg of RAM so that it would play the original Wing Commander. Anyone else remember having to create game specific boot disks? :-) The joys of HIMEM.SYS, EMS, XMS, and trying to get work out early Adlib and Soundblaster IRQs :-)

Whoa... this was my baby, my brother has it now, but at least it's still in the family, and works great still (don't make 'em like they used to!):
Although I'd have to say my first video game experience had to be the old Coleco handheld games that used the LED lights, primarily the football one. That was back in the early 80's. I have literally been a gamer since then. I didn't even know what school was yet.

I'm 14.
10 or so years ago (quite recently turned 14), I would refuse to touch any games or computers because Windows was ugly, and they didn't look fun. How wrong I was.

26-29 group here. Fondly remember the Ataris of the mid-80s! First computer was a Dragon32, the CPU ran at a quite dizzying 0.8MHz!
Playing the ASCII-based 'Quest' on the Dragon32 (at the tender age of 5) was also my first taste of RPGing - Guild Wars is sure a long way on from that!
I'm among the youngest in my alliance btw...

I'm 27 and my husband is 29. Both of us play GW and we will keep playing till we die. I can't wait to retire then I'll have 12 hours a day to play and not just 12 hours a day on weekends!

Turned 41 this year. Nice to see there are more of us old timers than I first thought. Actually I don't think we have anyone under the age of 30 in our guild right now. Apparently the need for more frequent bio-breaks is a huge turn off for younger people wanting to join our guild
First computer game experience was Ultima III on an old Apple. Then got hooked on that text based game (Can't remember the actual name... something about caves) that was common on Mainframes. Never looked back after that.

Will probably be buried with game controler in hand.

Pong! Ah, I remember when we got Pong... I also remember playing Ultima off of a 5 1/4 floppy on our Commodore 64 with it's bog ol' 20 Meg hard drive.
My age? The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything.

Those were the fun days. No idiot proof Windows to tell you that folders are hidden for their protection and to give you error messages everytime you do something
And how come nobody has mentioned Zaxxon yet, that game rules
Oh yah, I'm 24. Been into computers n stuff ever since I was old enough to be fascinated with all the flashing lights
